Polk County Career Expo Inspires Future Workforce

Workforce Solutions Deep East Texas and the Texas State University System–Polk County Center hosted the Polk County Career Expo on October 1, 2025, where 610 students from three counties explored high-demand careers and met with more than 30 employers and education partners. Interactive exhibits—from an EMS simulator to a bucket truck demo—brought career exploration to life, connecting students with pathways to success in Deep East Texas.
